What did one titration say to the other? … Let’s meet at the endpoint! 🤣 Miss Kopec's Chemistry 30 students have been learning about titrations and their applications in Electrochemistry. Students used this technique to determine the concentration of sodium hydroxide. A change in colour from clear to light pink indicates a successful trial! #Chemistry30 #LearningInAction

Today, Miss. McInnis’ grade 9 Religion class and Miss. Hopes grade 2’s had the opportunity to Try-A-Trade through Skills Alberta! The grade 9’s helped assist the grade 2’s in building flashlights and nightlights. Yesterday, both CTK & SJC participated in Stations of the Cross. Students from CTK’s 8A homeroom collaborated with our Religion 15, Jr/Sr Choral, and French 9 to present to all students from HFA, CTK, and SJC. They did an outstanding job! Thank you to Miss. Magsombol, Mrs. Grove, and Mme Wilms, we are blessed that you are part of our family. As a reminder, our school will remain closed until Monday, April 17. We pray you a have a restful and faith-filled Easter break!

Check out what was happening in Ms. Kruegers class this week! Math 9 students have been learning about symmetry and rotation of objects as well as translating 2-D images on a graph. As part of their review this week for an upcoming quiz, students moved through different stations around the classroom in small groups to practice the concepts they have been learning. In Science 10, students have been learning about average speed and uniform motion as part of their Physics unit. Students engaged in a lab that allowed them to test average speed and uniform motion of Lego bricks falling over. #SJCLearningInAction #LegoLab #Symmetry
