🚀 **SJC Explores the Future at STEM For a Day!** 🚀 A massive shoutout to **CF Industries** and **Medicine Hat College (MHC)** for hosting SJC and other local schools for an unforgettable **STEM For a Day**! Our students stepped out of the classroom and into the labs for a fully supported, hands-on experience. SJC students spent an inspiring day last week exploring the University of Lethbridge! 🎓 Our students gained hands-on experience across a variety of disciplines, helping them visualize their future career paths. Highlights included: • Business: Navigating the fast-paced world of finance in an interactive stock exchange. • Fine Arts: Touring the Art Gallery and the creative spaces within the Arts Department. • Health Sciences: Visiting the Nursing labs to see modern healthcare training in action. • Education: Stepping into the shoes of an educator in the Education department. • Science: Discovering new perspectives in an interactive Science Lab. It was an informative day of discovery and forward-thinking. A huge thank you to @uLethbridge for hosting us and helping our students think big about their next steps!

This afternoon, our CTK and SJC school community came together in prayer and reflection as students led us through the Stations of the Cross in honour of holy Thursday. Through their words, actions and reverence, we were reminded of Christ’s journey, His sacrifice, and the call to walk with compassion and faith in all our lives. Thank you to our students and staff for creating such a meaningful and prayerful experience as we continue our journey through Holy Week.

From March 23-27, SJC students are having the opportunity to interact with the Eucharistic Miracles display that St. Carlo Acutis, the first millennial saint who was born in 1991 and passed away in 2006, curated before his death. A bus load of students attended the Medicine Hat College Open House today! They toured several departments: Nursing, Paramedics, Trades, Power Engineering, Counselling, Social Work, Education, and University Transfer Sciences. Students were given a free lunch and were able to apply to MHC for free if they are in Grade 12. It was an informative trip. #sjc #sjclife

St. Joseph’s Collegiate hosted its annual Meet the Teacher and Parent Council AGM tonight. Thank you to all the parents who came to hear about our Parent Council and to say hi to their children’s teachers. Parents are always encouraged to reach out to teachers and administration if they have questions about the school, and are always invited to Parent Council meetings and events.
