FAITH
Sometimes it feels as though there is not much to report in the newsletter as far as big faith events but for faith, at times it is as much about the little action as the big events. The start of the school year marks the resetting of many habits within homes and the community. In the school, the St.Joseph Collegiate community seeks to build habits of faith and prayer. We begin and end every day with a prayer and pray grace for lunch over the intercom. We seek to build worship through Mass and Adoration and we are always thankful for Father Marino Infante’s cooperation and support in making these events happen. Our opening mass was September 28 and it was so good to gather as a community in prayer. Our habits of doing good as an outflow of our faith also are beggining as well, with the start-up of the volunteer club and the Grade 10 good works program. We pray that these habits and actions of faith make us rooted so that we grow in excellence in academics and in character.
